The Band is a DJ.The DJ is a Band.
A live band that plays like a DJ set: classic hip-hop, funk, soul and R&B vamps flipped on the downbeat, with live turntablism cutting acapellas over the top.
About
Bomb Cyclone Unit is a band from San Luis Obispo, CA that treats a live set like a DJ treats a night. They vamp on classic hip-hop, funk, soul, R&B flipping into the next tune as often as they like.
Guitarist G!O also works the turntables, cutting acapellas over the band in real time. The result lives somewhere between a block party, a sound system and a funk show.
